Trip Detail:

White Water Rafting in Bhutan provides the unique opportunity to explore Bhutan’s beautiful wilderness. Adventurous travellers will not be disappointed by the rugged, untamed water ways

of Bhutan. However, due to the most of the rivers of Bhutan are very steep and highly rushing with limited road access makes it considerable unsuitable for water rafting. Only a few rivers are open for rafting considering their safe course and easy access. Six major rivers (Wang Chhu, Sunkosh, Puna Tsang Chhu, Mangde Chhu, Kuri Chhu and Dangme Chhu and their tributaries), have been scouted for kayaking and rafting in Bhutan.

The most popular course for rafting in Bhutan is in Pho-Chhu in Punakha. It is approximately 16 km course with about 15rapids of class 2-4. We also have Mo-chhu river course with about 10km comprisning around 10rapids wth 2-2+rapids.

Rivers in Bhutan also offers a great potential for Kayaking. We can customize your tour if you are interested for Kayaking adventure in Bhutan.
